I encourage you to listen to samples of Side Gate Studio modified microphones to see if the flavour is what you are looking for. I also believe in what I do; I am confident from experience, that if you invest in the 'C' modifications, you will have a microphone that is competitive with or trumps anything available on the current market for studio microphones - period - no matter what the cost.

*note: for more ‘in actual use’ audio, the samples below that are “recorded” by side gate studio were recorded on location and exclusively with side gate studio modified microphones and converters (with the exception of an sm57 on the snare drum, of course).

Recording, Mixing and Mastering Samples
The below samples all also feature side gate studio recording equipment with the exception of "Horizon" in which only the bass part was recorded on a side gate studio rewired bass through a side gate studio custom modified Digi 002 rack.
